The concept of “Web 2.0″ is now so old that it’s become passe.
We really should be moving on to Web 3.0 or perhaps something completely new. However, there are still a few examples of fun web-based applications–some are even useful. The Generator category of Web 2.0 sites is interesting. These are sites that have created a web-based application to generate code or an image that can be useful to site owners. This includes generators for code (HTML, CSS, Javascript) or images for such things as background patterns, buttons, rounded boxes, logos, and web badges. This site falls into that last category.
Go to Web20Badges to create any number of colorful web badges for your site. You have a choice of about 20 basic badge styles, 6 font styles with color options, and some limited positioning options. For a quick and easy way to create a web badge, it’s hard to beat this web 2.0 generator.

1Great site! I created a good looking badge in 2 minutes. What are some of your other favorite Web 2.0 generator sites?
Thanks.
